Sun Nails & Beauty is a full-service beauty salon on Lygon Street, Brunswick East — a close-knit team of skilled estheticians dedicated to making every visit a memorable one. The work is close, careful and unhurried, even when the room is full.

The salon carries a complete menu: nails from a simple manicure to a full acrylic set with per-nail art, waxing for women and men, lash extensions, microblading, cosmetic tattoo and spray tan. Every service is done here, open seven days a week.

The team listens. They go out of their way to understand what each client wants and tailor the service accordingly — whether it's a quick tidy-up or a full design for a wedding or an engagement.

The space

162 Lygon Street,
Brunswick East.

A long, narrow, white-tiled room running deep from the street. Manicure benches line one wall with task lamps above; a row of burgundy-and-black spa pedicure thrones runs down the other. At the back — visible from the footpath through the full-width glazed shopfront — a curved, back-lit colour wall carrying well over a thousand bottles of SNS, shellac and gel across ten tiers, with a second full wall of gel behind it. Pendant lamps run the length of the ceiling; artificial ivy and white roses trail from ceiling baskets above the pedicure row. The salon directly faces the yellow LUKUMADES doughnut shop across Lygon Street; the door carries a red OPEN 7 DAYS decal. When busy — which the photographs show it to be on ordinary weekdays — the technicians work both sides in matching forest-green uniforms carrying a gold sunburst mark.
