The salon

A long white room on Lygon Street, and a wall you won't forget.

Sun Nails & Beauty is a full-service beauty salon at Shop 1/162 Lygon Street in Brunswick East — a single ground-floor space, glazed almost fully to the street, directly opposite the doughnut shop. Seven days a week.

The room runs deep from the street: manicure benches down one side, a row of spa pedicure thrones down the other, and at the far end, the curved back-lit polish wall — ten illuminated shelves carrying well over a thousand bottles and SNS pots. The technicians wear forest green. The chairs are burgundy. Ivy trails from the ceiling.

Monday through Saturday from 10am, with late closing on Thursday and Friday until 7pm. Open Sundays — call for hours.
